1. Purchasing the exclusive licence to a beat makes you the owner of the right to use that beat. You are licensed to exclusively use the beat for any release. Exclusive Rights range from $200-$1,000 per track and up. Beats purchased exclusively are available in session form.
2. NonExclusive Licensing permits you the same rights as Exclusive Licensing, except you are only able to use the beat until it is purchased exclusively ($60-$100). NonExclusive Licensing is intended for people interested in using a beat commercially, but are not able to afford the exclusive rights.
3. Purchasing the right to use a beat on a noncommercial release (demo) is a demo license. Licensing a beat for a demo permits you to use the beat on projects that are NOT commercially released, a prime example being a demo.
Barry Myrick aka Klassick, a 23 year old musician out of Illadelphia, but from a little bit of here and there as well (nc,ca,ga,pa). Experiencing these diverse locations helped to mold his unique sound. Influence by the sounds of Hip Hop, Soul, Rock, Funk and the Blues, Barry made his first beat at the age of 14 when he first brought you KlassicK Productions. Now after nearly 10 years in the game, he has honed a style all his own and has worked with arists throughout the nation and in the city of Philadelphia (including artists from the Roots, Freeway, Mutlu, Lelia, and the Burndown Allstars). Barry is kept busy by pursuing his musical goals and a degree from Temple University. Current projects include KlassicK's EP, which will be a mix of samples and live instruments with a hip hop influence, also the Burndown MC's Project, which feature a collective of underground Philly mc's over KlassicK Productions beats as well as other local producers, and the Kuf Knotz solo album of the burndown allstars, which will be an eclectic mix of philly hip hop for ya'll, and a mixtape is in the works featuring various artists from all around. Also be on the look out for an instrumental album soon. The best is yet to come, so expect plenty more music to be coming your way. |
