DKP was formed in the fall of 2004 in Portland, Oregon. The play original topical folk music, loud and heavy. The first album Killyourselfishness was recorded in the summer of 2005 and released March 10 2006.
The members of DKP play in Benjamin Franklin Freeman, Jesus Burger, Curious Hands, Madman Prophecies, and Snikative.
