Robert Anton is a proud native of Cleveland, Ohio. He began his music career singing in his grandmother's church; then moved on to choirs and ensembles in junior high school.

Bitten by the performance bug, he decided to study vocal music and musical theater in high school and college at the Cleveland School of the Arts and Baldwin-Wallace College, respectively.

After moving to New York City with a few hundred dollars and a dream, he
quickly began performing in any venue available and landed his first big tour doing his favorite show, "Dreamgirls", with Miki Howard and other noted performers.

Robert's voice has been called a "velvety baritone" and "smooth as butter" by the Kentucky Standard. He's also been tagged as Mr. Smooth by directors, colleagues, friends, and fans alike.

Robert has performed and toured in over 10 countries and 150 cities around the world in such diverse productions as: Smokey Joe's Cafe, Annie Get Your Gun, Black Nativity, The Student Prince, Beauty and The Beast, Hair, Aretha: Queen of Soul, Dreamgirls, and more.

He has also portrayed Nat "King" Cole and Sam Cooke in several productions around the world and in New York City at the world-famous Cotton Club.

Currently Robert is working on his third indie release, in as many years, of his own all-original material and seeking representation and performance opportunities.

Robert Anton feels so blessed to be able to Follow His Dreams.
